Giving to BCM

There are a variety of ways in which it is possible to donate to BCM, enabling us to continue our work and make a difference in our city.

Gift Aid

Increase your gift to us by 28% at no extra cost to yourself.  If you make a charitable donation via Gift Aid BCM can reclaim from the Inland Revenue basic rate tax you paid on the money you are giving.

Payroll

Payroll giving is a way for employees to make a charitable donation straight from their gross pay before tax.

Leaving a legacy

Remember BCM in your will.  Legacies are one of the more traditional forms of gift to charity but they remain a very important one.

Standing order

If you would like to send a regular donation by standing order please click here for a standing order form and send to us.

Gift of shares

If you own shares which have accumulated capital gains tax liability, giving the shares to BCM doubles the tax benefit. Talk to your tax advisor if you would like to take advantage of this facility.

Adopt BCM

Focus on BCM in your church or company.  For churches, the Mission could become one of the societies the church focuses on both in prayer and financial support.  For companies, for example, staff may be encouraged to give regular items of food or clothes to the Resource Centre or clothes or even their own valuable time.

Sponsor a missionary

Be more involved with BCM.  Sponsoring a missionary creates a personal contact with the Mission giving a greater sense of ownership and involvement.
