''Urban Challenge' is a one year in-service training course run by BCM since 1972. It's all about hands-on experience in urban mission. The city is a challenge, the work we do is a challenge, and there are many personal challenges to face along the way.

For those who have plenty of time in the summer months and would like to do some kind of Christian work.  If you have no experience, come and learn, working alongside experienced city missionaries. Or if you already have experience come and share. We all have something to learn...We all have something to give...

STEPS is an opportunity to get involved short-term with BCM. Participants tell us the areas they want to be involved in and we tailor a suitable programme for each individual (or group). Maybe your youth group would benefit from spending a week with us. Or perhaps you want to put out some 'feelers' before joining a longer programme. STEPS is whatever you want to make it.
